Cooler than normal temperatures are expected today through L.A. and Orange counties. The clouds will stick around until tomorrow, but come Saturday, temperatures should start ticking up.

Along the coast and in the foothills of the San Fernando and San Gabriel valleys there’s a chance of patchy drizzle this morning. But forecasters say that the chances of light rain will quickly dissipate, making way for mostly clear skies overnight.
In Riverside and San Bernardino counties, the forecast is similar. After patchy fog in the morning, you can expect a partly cloudy day.
Throughout the Southland, mild to moderate Santa Ana winds are expected today. Gusty winds will start to pick up this afternoon in the mountains and deserts.

Tonight's lows will drop to the upper 50s for most of the Southland, and the mid 60s for the low desert.
