Donald Paz

Engineer + Mixer

Donald Paz began his audio mixing journey in college. He started by producing and engineering songs for his friends and local artists. Working a retail job during the day, he dedicated his nights to honing his craft. Under the guidance of renowned music producer Tall Black Guy, Donald solidified his position as a producer and engineer. As a student in Pasadena City College's Radio Production Program in 2015, he secured an internship at LAist 89.3 FM (formerly KPCC) in 2016. Progressing from a Studio Technician to an Audio Production Engineer at SCPR in 2021, Donald has served as the Engineer for LAist Studios podcasts 'Snooze’, ‘Imperfect Paradise: Yoga’s Queen of Conspiracy Theories’, and ‘WILD Season 2: I Think I’m Falling In Love.’ He remains a dedicated student of the art of producing and mixing.
