A native Angeleno, Tamar Faggen has been listening to 89.3 LAist (formerly KPCC) since she was in diapers. Before coming to LAist, she served as the General Director of WXBC and as an Intern for 100.1 Radio Woodstock. She graduated from Bard College in New York with a B.A in History.
In her spare time she enjoys listening to music, birding, and exploring the L.A. taco scene.
