Rebecca Stumme

I manage live events for our newsroom. My job covers everything from program development to scheduling logistics to event execution.

My background is in theatre and performing arts presenting, so I love the opportunity to bring the incredible work of our newsroom to life, whether onstage or online. I’m also always on the lookout for fun and unexpected ways to engage our community through arts and entertainment events.

I’ve had many jobs in live event production, my favorite being stage managing, which I still get the chance to do here on a pretty regular basis. I’m most at home in the dark backstage with a headset and stopwatch.

L.A. is such a great place to live if you love the arts. This city is filled with the most creative people in the world and it’s incredible to see what they create.
