Payton previously worked as Apprentice News Clerk for AirTalk with Larry Mantle and as an intern at CNBC for their Invest In You initiative, aimed at helping younger audiences learn about investments and finances. She graduated from Seton Hall University in New Jersey with a Bachelor’s in Journalism. She also wrote for the Seton Hall campus newspaper, The Setonian, as a features writer.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and scouring the local thrift stores for unique finds to add to her closet.
