Institutional Giving

Support from foundations, corporations, and government programs is vital to the success of Southern California Public Radio (SCPR).

Grants not only fund our general operations but also are a primary means through which SCPR is able to develop and test new programming and initiatives.

Grants provide funding for SCPR's internships, engagement, events, and news coverage of broad areas, such as education and health, as well as specific issues or newsroom projects, such as mental health, early childhood development, community colleges, higher education, military and veterans, digital equity, and income insecurity.
