Another foggy morning as temperatures cool down heading into the weekend

Happy Friday folks. More dense fog this morning will clear away after 9 a.m. Also, look for cooler temperatures this weekend.

Today will be less warm than the beginning of the week. High temperatures for the valleys will be in the mid 80s to low 90s. Expect temperatures for inland coastal cities to reach the mid 80s and around 70 degrees for the beaches. Orange County highs will reach the 80s.

There is some triple digit heat forecasted for the Coachella Valley, with highs topping out at about 103 today.

Some detailed forecasts:

  • 78 degrees in Torrance
  • 84 degrees in Downey
  • 92 degrees in San Bernardino
  • 88 degrees in Burbank

Tonight's lows will drop to the 60s for most of the Southern California, mid to low 70s for the low desert.
