I know, I know, I put CicLAvia in here a lot. But it’s such a great event that brings folks out into the streets, doesn’t cost a dime, and lets you see Los Angeles from a new perspective every time. This go-around, they are bringing the car-free event to the "Heart of L.A." — opening up Downtown through a route connecting Chinatown, Boyle Heights, Echo Park, and Little Tokyo. It’s also a great chance to check out some of the incredible public art along the 7.5-mile route. Take the Metro to Chinatown, Mariachi Plaza, Historic Broadway, or Union Station to join in the fun on bike, on foot or any other non-motorized vehicle you can dream up.

LAist has a booth at the Little Tokyo Hub on Central Ave. between 1st and 2nd Streets from 9am to 4pm. Come mingle with us! Stop by our booth for LAist promotional giveaways and learn more about our Voter Game Plan.
